    Brian Brain, the Warwickshire bowler from the 1970’s was also the name of a Public Image Ltd offshoot band, led by drummer Martin Atkins (who was also an apprentice with Vic Reeves in Darlington). I would go out more but I’m babysitting my grandson.

    I wonder if the 86 number on the back of Sam Cook's shirt is a reference to 1986 - the year his name equivalent of singer Sam Cooke was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! It would be a fun one if true.
