six Scouts from West Lancashire have set off for Uganda
to help build a Community Centre. Barbara Ashcroft from

It's
not just the grown-ups that have been rallying round
to help Tsunami sufferers. Local schoolchildren have
been busy filling Aquaboxes after hearing an appeal
on BBC Radio Lancashire.

is just around the corner and volunteers throughout
the county are digging out the spades and long brushes,
rakes and buckets to spruce up local parks and playgrounds.

Park in Darwen for a spring clean supported by Blackburn
with Darwen council workers.
